Chai Spiced Almond Butter
Making almond butter sounds intimidating, but it’s very simple. It just requires time and trust - the almond butter will seem like it’s not getting creamy while blending until it does. Serve chai spiced almond butter spread on toast with toppings such as unsweetened coconut flakes, chia seeds, fruit and more.
Serves 15+
In a food processor, add 1 lb roasted, unsalted almonds, ½ tsp salt, 1 ½ tsp cinnamon, ½ tsp cardamom, ½ tsp ground ginger, ½ tsp vanilla extract and 1 Tb maple syrup. Blend for about 15 minutes until smooth, pausing frequently to scrape down the sides of the food processor.
