Fall Yogurt Bowl
Yogurt is a convenient, delicious protein for the base of a satisfying meal. A yogurt bowl or parfait can include fruit, nuts, seeds and garnishes for flavor, texture and nutrients. Top yogurt with crisp apples and pears, available from storage in the late fall.
Serves 1
Slice 1 apple (or pear) into thin slices. Scoop 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (dairy or non-dairy) into a bowl. Top yogurt with apple slices, ¼ cup chopped pecans and 1 Tb unsweetened shredded coconut. Sprinkle ground cinnamon over top. Add a drizzle of maple syrup or honey (optional).
