We shouldn’t only be paying attention to our immunity when we’re sick. Strengthening our immune system should be a daily focus through practicing healthy lifestyle habits such as eating a variety of nutritious foods, staying active, hydrating well and prioritizing sleep and stress management.
One easy way to incorporate foods with key nutrients for healthy immune function is including them in snacks. Consider pairing a fruit and/or vegetable with a source of protein to help keep you full until your next eating occasion. Prep some of these items on Sunday or at the beginning of the week so they’re available to grab when you’re hungry.
