Sea Salt Lime Kale Chips

Sea Salt Lime Kale Chips

Sea Salt Lime Kale Chips

When baked in the oven, kale leaves become crispy with delicious, slightly browned edges that crackle when you eat them. Once you try this recipe, experiment with flavor add-ons such as garlic and onion powder, nutritional yeast, chili flakes and more. Snack on kale chips alone or crumble them on top of salads, grain bowls, soups or other dishes.

Serves 8

Preheat the oven to 300°F. Tear 2 heads of kale into bite-sized pieces. Spread out kale pieces on a lined sheet pan. Drizzle 2 Tb olive oil and the juice of 2 limes on the kale and toss to combine. Sprinkle the kale with lime zest and salt. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the edges of the kale are brown and crispy.

Pro tip: instead of using a knife to prepare kale, just use your hands to tear bite-sized pieces off the stems.
